Woodstock

Woodstock

A cooperative neighborhood featuring vintage town homes and large green spaces.

Welcome to Woodstock

The West End’s Woodstock is a coop built in 1940 to house workers on Alameda Point Naval Air Station who were not military. By 1947, the residents bought and made the community into a coop. There are 1, 2, and 3 bedroom units. Many face large green spaces. The units range from about 600-900 sq feet.

Over the years, the fences came up, and although the land is communally owned, the fences have come to define back and side yards for these sweet vintage town homes. Woodstock has a strong sense of community.

ACI bus routes nearby, easy access to the Posey Tube, and proximity to the Alameda-SF ferry make this a very commutable neighborhood.
